Cookie Policy
Effective date: 1 May 2026 · Version 1.0
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the website to remember your preferences and session state across page loads. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and browser fingerprinting — this policy covers all such mechanisms.
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions, we must obtain your prior, informed consent before placing any non-essential cookie or tracker on your device. This policy explains what we use, why, and how to control it.
2. Cookies We Use
EssentialStrictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They are set in response to your actions — such as logging in, filling out a form, or setting your language preference. No consent is required for these cookies.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Set By |
|---|---|---|---|
tdac_lang | Stores your selected language preference so it persists across visits | 1 year | TDAC-Portal |
__session | Manages your application session state during the multi-step form | Session (deleted on browser close) | TDAC-Portal |
tdac_csrf | Cross-Site Request Forgery protection token; prevents unauthorized form submissions | Session | TDAC-Portal |
FunctionalThird-Party Payment Cookies
When you proceed to checkout, Stripe.js loads on our payment page. Stripe sets cookies to prevent fraud and ensure payment security. These cookies are set by Stripe, Inc. and governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We have no control over these cookies.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Set By |
|---|---|---|---|
__stripe_mid | Fraud prevention and machine identifier | 1 year | Stripe, Inc. |
__stripe_sid | Session identifier for payment security | 30 minutes | Stripe, Inc. |
Stripe cookies are strictly necessary for secure payment processing and cannot be disabled without preventing checkout from functioning.
AnalyticsAnalytics (Consent Required)
We do not currently use third-party analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar). If we introduce analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and your prior consent will be obtained through our consent management tool before any analytics cookie is placed.
3. How to Control Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair or prevent the use of the Service. Below are links to cookie management guides for common browsers:
You may also use opt-out tools provided by industry bodies such as the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) or the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI).
4. localStorage and sessionStorage
In addition to cookies, our application form uses browser localStorage and sessionStorage to temporarily cache your in-progress application data locally on your device. This data never leaves your device via these mechanisms and is not accessible to any third party. sessionStorage data is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab. localStorage data related to your application is cleared upon successful submission.
5. Consent and Changes to This Policy
On your first visit to our website, you will be presented with a cookie consent notice. By continuing to use the site after dismissing the notice, you consent to the use of essential and functional cookies described above.
We may update this Cookie Policy as our technology or legal obligations change. Changes will be published here with an updated effective date. Material changes affecting non-essential cookies will be communicated with a renewed consent prompt.
